What We Do
As well as our work with some of Greater Manchester’s most disadvantaged young people, Rising Stars North West is a community-centred social enterprise that aims to unite communities, support the UK creative industry and deliver powerful messages through creative methods.
As part of our regular creative youth events, we bring young people together at the heart of their communities to showcase their talents and achievements.
Our focus on sharing talent right where it grew enables us to:
- Share young people’s achievements with their families and friends
- Build a sense of pride and worth to communities
- Increase footfall in local venues, including libraries, community halls and offices
- Bring positivity and creativity to under-privileged areas

Rising Stars North West works with local, up-and-coming artists to bring new skills, confidence and ideas to young people living in disadvantaged communities.

We work with young people up to the age of 24, delivering engaging and interactive workshops and creative projects on challenging current issues, such as crime and bullying, or more positive concepts including celebration, confidence and team building.
