#InTheStudioWith Music project with industry professionals

 

#InTheStudioWith is our flagship music project funded by Youth Music, supported by Stockport Council, Pie Radio and other partners. The project engages young people living in deprived and disadvantaged areas of Stockport and Manchester to provide opportunities to aspiring musicians who are unable to afford private tuition, rehearsal space, access to a professional recording studio or equipment, or mentorship within music and creative industry.

The project gives participants ages 13 – 21 years old the opportunity to learn new instruments, improve their songwriting and vocal skills, develop music production and studio engineering skills, network with other musicians locally, as well as working with a range established musicians in a professional recording studio to write, record and perform their own music to audiences across Stockport and Greater Manchester.

We are now recruiting for March – June 2017. If you are interested in taking part in the project, kindly complete the Expression of Interest Form and someone from the team will get back to you ASAP with more information. Spaces will be limited so we encourage you submit your interest ASAP.
