In The Studio With starts Monday 2nd February in Stockport

After months of planning, promotion and recruitment, we are happy to announce ‘In The Studio With’ music project with industry and professional musicians starts Monday 2nd of February in Stockport.

The Under 18s stand of the project will run three times a week for 12 weeks

– Mondays, 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Woodbank Community Centre
– Thursdays, 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Adswood Community Centre
– Saturdays, 12pm – 5pm at Rubber Soul Studio, Unit 4D Hallam Mill, Stockport SK2 6PT

For those who took part in the pilot sessions you will notice a few changes in the project, these includes

– filming of 1or 2 music videos for songs produced during the studio sessions
– £500 budget to organise a music showcase event in a City Centre location
– working towards a Bronze / Silver Arts Award qualification

It’s not a must to attend all three sessions, for people local to Stockport you can attend the Monday or Thursday community sessions as well as the Saturday sessions at Rubber Soul Studio. For those outside of Stockport, you are only required to attend the Saturday sessions but you will be required to do a little extra work but nothing too complicated.
