FILM PRODUCTION TEAM OPPORTUNITY
Rising Stars are recruiting creative volunteers to contribute content to our online channel. Successful candidates will develop creative and technical skills in film, journalism and broadcasting as well as gaining experience working in a collaborative and creative environment.
You will work alongside the Director and Production Co-Ordinator to generate ideas and produce a series of online documentaries, sketches or music sessions.
Having your own equipment and software is desired but not essential. We would like to see in your application that you have the ability to generate ideas and think practically about how to produce a final piece.
JOB TITLE: Film Production Team
This is a voluntary post of 6 – 8 hours a week for an initial period of 4 months, starting September – December 2014. The position is based at our office in Manchester, days and hours may vary according to project demand.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To generate ideas, shoot and edit video content for our YouTube channel and affiliates. Candidate must ensure all video content is filmed at the highest possible quality, archived, edited and released on scheduled dates. You will work closely with our project coordinator to increase our online presence across all social networks. Your key purpose will be to develop new series, documentaries, increase views and subscribers to our YouTube channel.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Archiving Raw footage onto office server
- Completing monthly video production schedule
- Assembling raw footage into a completed video
- Researching and developing ideas for new content (documentaries and films)
